Mynydd Marian is limestone ridge up in the hills of Llysfaen - a small village in between Colwyn Bay and Abergele. It named as a nature reserve due to the rare flowers that can only grow on limescale.

If you park up at the bottom of the hill, the walk itself is relatively short - about 30 minutes if you decided to loop. However if your feeling like you and your pooch need a longer walk, you can always leave your car in Old Colwyn and walk up through the village and into Llysfaen (do note it’s uphill pretty much all the way). For more info on the walk and how to get there check out this leaflet from Conwy county:

Bonus photos: Here's what Mynydd Marian Nature Reserve looks like in the snow! It's the perfect spot for your dog to play of lead and children (and adults!) so do a bit of sledging!
